Microdermabrasion is a facial service add on that has been found to stimulate collagen and elastin in the dermis while gently exfoliating the stratum corneum, or the top epidermal layer of the skin. As we age, the skin's cell turnover rate decreases drastically and Microderm helps this process along and clears the dead skin away and reveals the smooth, vibrant skin underneath. If this dead skin skin is not professionally removed regularly, (every 4-6 weeks) the skin is suffocated by these dead skin cells and debris and is not able to breathe and turn new skin cells lying beneath over. Applying creams on top of this built up dead skin will be a fruitless effort because of all of the dead skin lying dormant on top thus blocking a form of hydration. Microderm allows for excellent product penetration and delivers amazing results that you can truly feel after the first visit.

Exfoliate and Penetrate! Ultrasonic exfoliation is a device that works with high-speed oscillations using a flat metal peeling probe. Coupled with topical exfoliants, this treatment creates a cavitation-like effect enhancing the natural exfoliation process of the stratum corneum (top layer of the epidermis) leaving the skin more even toned, firm and densely hydrated. Switching polarities allows for two types of effective results. These are the exfoliation of dead skin cells as well as penetration of high performance skin serums and moisturizers to provide more visible and lasting results. Many clients have commented that they love this add on as it extends the life of the effects of the facial treatment between appointments.

The Dermaplaning upgrade is a safe, sterile, highly effective and clinically proven technique for precise, manual exfoliation of the skin. This manual exfoliation promotes the reduction of fine lines via cellular turnover, light micro scarring, light sun damage, enhances product penetration and allows for more even makeup application. Dermaplaning removes the outermost layers of dead skin cells from the stratum corneum as well as vellus/baby fine hairs leaving the skin smooth, supple and vibrant. Each treatment removes 2-3 weeks worth of dead skin laying on the skin surface. This add on is a great option for facial clients that cannot receive waxing due to being on prescription medications and/or other sensitive skin conditions.

LED therapy is noninvasive skin treatment for acne, sun damage, wounds, collagen stimulation (fine lines and wrinkles) and other skin problems. The treatment uses wavelengths of light (620+ nanomeres) to trigger the skin’s natural healing processes to repair the skin. It is highly recommended as an add on for facial services and is already including in the TCA Peels and Medical Microneedling services due to its incredible ability to calm inflammation and boost collagen synthesis in the dermis.

Collagen Induction Therapy, also known as Medical Microneedling, is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles that put the skin in an inflammatory response in order to trigger the body’s immune system to repair itself thereby stimulating collagen and elastin in the dermis. Skin concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, dark spots, post inflammatory acne scarring can all be addressed with these procedures. It is highly recommended that clients receive at least 6-8 treatments to achieve the best results.
NOTICE***Please be advised that this treatment is acceptable for post-inflammatory, healed acne lesions and non-active acne clientele. Please refrain from using AHA, BHA, Vitamin C, Retinoids, Scrubs or ANY actives 48 hours before and 48 hours after your treatment. For at least the first 24 to 48 hours after the procedure, only use tepid water to cleanse the skin (you may you a sterile washcloth) and Cos De Baha Hyluronic Acid (found at L-T Wellness). This product must be purchased at the time of your microneedling session (this can be used again for future sessions until it runs out and needs replacing) and will be the only product that will be allowed on your skin until the micro-channels on your skin have completely closed. To be sure, wait at least 24 hours from the moment you leave L-T Wellness before you use any other products on your newly microneedled skin.

Nano Needling focuses on the rejuvenation of the top epidermal layer, the stratum corneum to be exact. TCA is a noninvasive skin treatment used to treat skin discolorations/hyperpigmentation, scarring and wrinkles. This peel gets its name from trichloroacetic acid (TCA), which is used to clear away dead skin cells to reveal the newer and smoother skin layers below. TCA has a longer dermal reach than other acid peels, which in turn delivers a much fast and quicker attained anti-aging result. ***for best results, a series of 8 TCA Peels ( 1 treatment every 4 weeks) are highly recommended.
